Nobody Knows, a film by Kore-eda Hirokazu, is probably one of the best movies I’ve seen since Amelie. I picked the movie at Von’s not knowing what it was about at all but completely based on the cover. I didn’t even read the back.
The movie turned out to be about four kids living in Japan when their mother leaves them. When I watched the movie for the first time, I did not even realize that their mother was going to leave them so even that was a bit of a shock. The story is great. The acting is great. The cinematography and directing are incredible. I suggest that everyone take at least one rainy evening to watch this movie.
