Day One; Russia

The flights were long and never ending. A total of three for me today (an actual span of two days). After the flight from Sweden to Russia, we had to take a four hour bus trip to Novgorod. Sweden had an amazing airport and so far on this trip most people speak English. Tonight a large group of us were walking around Novgorod when these two Russian guys started bothering us. A group of us thought it was stupid to sit there and be mocked by these guys so we left and went to this “chocolate cafe” and had a great time. Our cliques are starting to form. I took Melatonen on the plane and I think that I’m already on schedule. In all, things are going really well. Novgorod feels like a mix between Equador and Rome. Its very spaced out.

Dad: my phone doesn’t work here at all. I had to change the band to connect to a network but I can’t do anything with it.

Time to try and sleep.
